Join us for an educational presentation to learn about Seniors and Medical Cannabis and discover if it may be an option for you or a loved one.
Legacy 420, an Indigenous Medical Cannabis Dispensary will be bringing a team of our knowledgeable staff to The Seniors Centre, Kingston to present information on Seniors and Medical Cannabis. We will cover the long history of the plant’s use, touch on the “reefer madness” propaganda campaign that made it illegal during the prohibition era in the early 20th century, as well as explaining the difference between THC, CBD and the many ways to consume it (smoking, vaping, oils, capsules, suppositories, edibles, etc.) We will also provide information on cannabinoids - the plant’s chemical compounds, as well as the human endocannabinoid system - cannabinoids and their receptors produced naturally in the body that regulate signals relating to fertility and reproduction, pain, mood, memory, and appetite.
Feel free to bring any questions you may have, and our team will gladly answer them! We look forward to seeing you there.
